The Aalbu Brother's Team: Experienced, Determined, Punctual

The History Of Aalbu Brothers

Aalbu Brothers, a legacy that spans more than a century, has stood resilient through the winds of time. Established in 1906 by brothers Knut K. Aalbu and Ole Aalbu in North Dakota, our journey led us to Everett in 1911 and subsequently to our enduring location at 2927 Grand Ave in 1912. Now, in Arlington, WA, since December 2018, we continue to be custodians of a rich heritage.
Our inception was marked by the craftsmanship of building and repairing Everett’s most distinguished horse-drawn carriages and wagons, crafting our own wheels that propelled the city into the automotive era. Steeped in history, we not only witnessed the evolution of transportation but actively played a pivotal role in it.
The mantle of leadership transitioned through generations, with Sivert Torve taking ownership in the mid-1930s. Successively, his son, Ormond Sivert Torve, along with his wife Shirley Torve, ushered the business into the late ’50s. In the late 1980s, Aalbu Brothers found new stewards in Larry Torve and Cal Ferguson, steering it through decades of prosperity.
The journey continued with a change of hands in September 2017, as the dynamic father-and-son duo, Frank and Francis Craven, assumed leadership, injecting renewed vigor into the storied legacy. Through the twists of fate and the evolution of the automotive landscape, Aalbu Brothers has not only endured but flourished, standing as a testament to resilience, craftsmanship, and unwavering commitment.
An intrinsic part of our narrative is our historical expertise in building truck bodies, a tradition that endures to this day. Our commitment to quality and craftsmanship remains steadfast, echoing the values instilled by our founders over a century ago. As we navigate the present and anticipate the future, Aalbu Brothers stands poised, ever mindful of our roots, as we continue to shape the landscape of transportation.
Here’s to the next chapter in the enduring saga of Aalbu Brothers.
